The launch of Aion 2 Kinah trading will be closely connected to how the game's servers develop during Early Access and the global launch. Founder’s Pack owners will get a five-day head start beginning September 30, 2026, while the wider player base can enter on October 5. That difference has naturally made players curious about whether early access users will have separate economies, PvP advantages, or limited interaction with new players.
The reality is more balanced than a simple server split. Aion 2 Kinah trading begins with local restrictions, but the game is designed to gradually expand its economy. At the same time, dungeon matchmaking is relatively open, while Abyss PvP follows stricter rules to reduce the impact of the five-day progression gap.
Early Access Creates a Temporary Progression Divide
The main reason for separating Early Access players from standard launch players is progression.
Five days may not sound like a long period in a traditional MMO, but it can be significant at launch. Early players have more time to level, acquire equipment, explore systems, gather materials, and establish guilds.
This is particularly important for PvP. If new players immediately faced characters with five additional days of progression, the experience could feel unfair. NCSOFT's approach therefore gives Early Access servers their own competitive environment during the opening period.
However, this does not mean Early Access players will be permanently isolated.
Dungeon Parties Remain Region-Wide
PvE content is much more flexible.
During Early Access, players can use the lobby-based dungeon party finder to group with other Early Access players across servers in the same region. NA players can find other NA players, while EU players remain within the European matchmaking environment.
Once the global launch arrives, the system expands further. Standard launch servers join the same regional dungeon pool, allowing players who begin on October 5 to run dungeons with people who started during Early Access.
This should be especially useful for friend groups. If one person buys the Founder’s Pack and another waits for the global launch, they should still be able to play dungeon content together after October 5.
For many players, this will reduce the social impact of the five-day head start. The progression gap still exists, but it does not prevent friends from participating in a large portion of PvE content together.
Abyss PvP Follows Progression-Based Matching
Abyss PvP is where players will notice the strongest early restrictions.
During the five-day Early Access period, Abyss PvP is limited to Early Access servers. Founder’s Pack owners therefore compete within a population that entered the game at roughly the same time.
After the global launch, NCSOFT plans to use progression-based server matching. Rather than automatically placing every server into one giant competitive pool, servers will be evaluated according to progression milestones and overall power.
This should help prevent new players from immediately fighting against highly developed groups. At the same time, it avoids creating a permanent division between Early Access and standard launch players.
The system can therefore evolve as the player base develops.
Trading Begins With Server-Based Markets
The economy also follows a phased model.
The Server Market is available from day one of Early Access, but it is limited to buyers and sellers on the same server. This gives each server a smaller local economy during the earliest stage of the game.
Transactions through this market are subject to a 10% flat tax. Players who plan to sell valuable drops or crafting materials should keep this cost in mind when calculating profits.
The Cross-Server Market will become available after the global launch when server progression begins to flatten out. It expands trading across the regional player pool, creating a much larger market.
The downside is a higher 20% flat tax. Players will have more access to potential buyers and sellers, but they will also pay more when completing cross-server transactions.
This makes early economic decisions more interesting. Players who accumulate Aion 2 Kinah may find that the best way to use their resources changes as the market evolves, while anyone considering cheap Aion 2 Kinah should also pay attention to the differences between local and regional trading.
Choosing the Right Region and Server
Players should remember that cross-server does not mean cross-region. North America and Europe remain separate matchmaking environments.
If you are planning to play with friends, choosing the correct region is therefore essential. The cross-server system gives players more flexibility within their own region, but it does not allow NA and EU players to freely share matchmaking pools.
NCSOFT has also announced plans for an official Server Transfer Service. More information is expected after launch, when population data becomes available.
This means server selection should still be taken seriously at launch. A future transfer option may provide flexibility, but players should not rely on it as an immediate solution to every population problem.
Final Thoughts on the Server System
Free-to-play players can potentially join Early Access servers after October 5 if character creation remains available. Highly populated servers may temporarily prevent new characters from being created, so access will depend on server population.
Overall, Aion 2's server system is designed to protect early competitive balance without permanently dividing the community. Dungeons offer broad regional interaction, PvP gradually adjusts according to server progression, and the economy expands from local markets to a wider regional system. Understanding these differences will help players make better decisions about where to start and how to manage their resources.
